2025 EUREKA CITY MUNICIPAL ELECTION NOTICE

In accordance with UCA § 10-3-301, notice is hereby given that the following offices are to be voted on in the Eureka City 2025 Municipal Election:

• Mayor (4 Year Term)

• (2) City Council Member Positions (4 Year Term Each)

The Candidate Filing Period is from June 2, 2025, to June 6, 2025. The qualifications for a candidate are: Be a United States Citizen; at least 18 years old; Be a registered voter of Eureka City; Be a resident of Eureka City for 12 consecutive months immediately preceding the date of election; and not been convicted of a felony. See Utah Code 20A-9-203 for more details.

Candidate will be required to file certain financial disclosures and conflict of interest forms related to their campaign or be disqualified.

Those interested in filing for candidacy for municipal office must file IN PERSON with the City Recorder, 15 North Church Street, Eureka, Utah, between the hours of 8:00 am to 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, the week of June 2nd through June 6th, 2025. Candidate Filing Fee is $35.00 and will be collected at the time of filing from each candidate.

The 2025 election will be a vote by mail election. Write-ins are not allowed for a primary election if one is required.

Primary Election to be held August 12, 2025 General Election to be held November 4, 2025.
