NOTICE OF MUNICIPAL OFFICES to be voted on in the Eureka City Municipal General
Election on November 7, 2023
(3) City Council Member Positions (4 Year Term Each)
Candidate Filing Period Begins June 1, 2023
Candidate Filing Period Ends June 7, 2023
Declaration of Candidacy Forms or Nominating Petitions must be filed with the Eureka
City Recorder during regular business hours located at 15 North Church Street, Eureka, Utah, Monday – Friday 8:30 am to 5:00 pm. Candidate Filing Fee is $35.00.
Candidates may file remotely or through a designated agent if the individual is located
outside of the state during the entire filing period.
The qualifications for a candidate are: (1) Be a United States Citizen; (2) Be a registered
voter of Eureka City; (3) Be a resident of Eureka City for 12 consecutive months immediately
preceding the date of election.
Per State Law, the 2023 election will be a vote by mail election. Write-ins are not allowed
for a primary election if one is required.
